The true temple, true dwelling place, of the the Holy One is within the faithful and spiritual human being, in their heart and in their soul, deep inside. It is in your heart that the presence of the Holy One dwells, and the Anointed dwells – the truth of your inner being, your essential Self. And it is in your heart that the Holy One is unveiled and disclosed, and you have an intimate communion with the Holy One: knowledge of the Divine, and guidance from the Divine.

You have no need to go to any outward place – a sacred mountain, an outward shrine or templ -, to be in the direct presence of the Holy and Eternal One, to be in an intimate communion and Spirit-filled worship: wherever you are you only need to be inward, deep inward, in your heart, and in your holy soul. You may, indeed, feel led to climb a mountain, go on a pilgrimage to an outward sacred space. But do know that being the dwelling place of the Divine Presence – the Holy Light and Spirit – wherever you are is holy ground, and it is the light in you, and all things, that is the holiness of any space.

Seeking the Holy One, revelation and realization of the Holy One and your essential Self, you want to shift from outwardness to inwardness, and be deep inward, in your heart, and in your soul. In this way revelation of the Holy One happens, true knowledge of the Holy and Eternal One is acquired – Da’at, Gnosis.

This is the very nature of the mystical and gnostic path, knowing the divinity within you, having an inward communion – realizing and embodying that divinity, and letting the divinity be revealed through your humanity.
