During his time in the desert, Jesus is tempted by Satan three times. Once to turn stones into bread (traditionally an analogue for gluttony), once to take control over all nations in the world (avarice; extreme greed for wealth or material gain), and once to throw himself off the highest point of the temple in Jerusalem (Pride) and each of the other seven deadly sins at one point in his life.
‘Christ’ translated from the Greek word ‘Christos’ meaning the ‘anointed’ which became the Christian theological term for the ‘Messiah’ is the ‘one’ who conveys the message. That message would be one of love, truth, deep inner healing and the knowledge and wisdom that comes from it.
Jesus the man, given the title of Christ, was a kundalini awakened being who radiated the energy of a more unified consciousness.
Jesus Christ, despite being awakened, also had to face his own shadows and this is a message for us as well. He went through an integration of his own shadow side (as we need to) to be able to openly receive the influx of love energy reaching the heart centre, what is called dark night of the soul.
It was more about shadow work than anything else. Depictions of Christ with his heart centre radiating the seven rainbow colors or rays of light in perfect harmony, show very clearly the heart center open.
Here we talk about Christ but we could be talking about other central spiritual figures such as Krishna or Buddha, beings of light bringing a message to all humanity.
Holding the keys to ascension. They all hold much more significance due to their esoteric nature, if we view them free of heavy dogmatic views.
This was the journey of Christ, that aligns so much with all of the ascension process we are intensely involved with.
There is a distinguishing difference of meaning between Jesus & Christ. His given name was Jesus, his honorific title was Christ.
In his little human body called Jesus was born the vast Christ consciousness, the omniscient intelligence of God, omnipresent in every part and particle of creation.
