How grateful I am to Yahuah for the gift of the Book of Mormon. Praise Yah for his mercy in giving me this wonderful record.
It shows me that the principles of redemption, a Savior, grace, baptism, and many of the things that we hold to in the belief in Yahushua ha Mashiach were known to the Torah adherent children of Israel prior to Yahushua’s earthly ministry.
Because I have the Book of Mormon I am not dependent upon the poison that Yahushua identified the Oral Torah as for verification of these truths and thus I do not have to fall into the error of accepting the false teachings contained therein out of a sense of gratitude for what understanding of Christian redemption theology I can find in them.
The Book of Mormon along with the Tanakh, The New Testament, and the majority of the Doctrine and Covenants allows me to Worship the Mashiach in Spirit and truth. I am saved by the merits, mercy, and grace of our Holy Mashiach. After this, by continuing in his footsteps out of love and gratitude for his mercy, I can be sanctisanctified. (The beginning of grace) justifies. Torah sanctifies.
Did you know that the Hebrew word that comes to us in our English Old Testaments as grace is an idiomatic expression for Torah?
This means that after we receive the initial outpouring of grace that justifies us, if we don’t continue in Torah then we are not continuing in Grace or walking in the Spirit.
Doctrine and Covenants 84:44-45
44 For you shall live by every word that proceedeth forth from the mouth of God.
45 For the word of the Lord [Torah] is truth, and whatsoever is truth is light, and whatsoever is light is Spirit, even the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Walk in the Spirit. Walk in Torah. It’s the only way to be true to the Word who was with God, who is God. Much love to all. Where there is life there’s is hope. It is never too late to return and walk in the footsteps of Yahushua ha Mashiach. While you live, it is never too late to return to the way (Torah), the truth (Torah), and the life (Yahushua ha Mashiach).
