Gaslighting: Is it the newest Olympic sport?
The portrayal of fallen angels, Watchers, and Nephilim in the Olympic opening ceremony raises questions about their symbolic role.
The name of the sequence verified by the Olympic committee was “La Cène sur la scène sur la Seine,” which translates to “The Last Supper on the stage on the River Seine.” The creative director considered himself to be very “punny,” given that Cène, scène, and Seine all sound the same in French. So we know it’s not Bacchanalia; otherwise, it would have been called “Bacchanalia on the River Seine.” Instead, we know this is a portrayal of the Last Supper because the title of the segment tells us so.
The artistic director behind the scene, Thomas Jolly, said in a conference following the opening ceremony, when asked specifically whether he had any views on why Christians might be offended by that segment, that he wanted to convey that in France “we have a right to not be worshippers.” He did not say “you’re mistaken, because it wasn’t the Last Supper”; rather, he explained why it was chosen and what it was trying to portray.
Yes, the man in blue was Dionysus/Bacchus, but the point of the scene was to insert Dionysus into the Last Supper. Why? Dionysus was the god of wine. The Last Supper is a pivotal moment for Christians, as this is where Christ shares wine as a symbol of His blood he was about to willingly shed to redeem all the blood sacrifices the fallen had done. His body which was about to be broken and symbolized by the bread with all curses and diseases being broken with Him was shared with His disciples. Jesus in this solemn ceremony instructed them to continue using these emblems in remembrance of the sacrifice He would be making on the cross. Not only is this a sacred remembrance but a literal power filled observance to be used in warfare against the enemy of mankind.
In the performance “La Cène sur la scène sur la Seine,” the figure of Jesus was replaced with Dionysus (the pagan god associated with wine and hedonistic pleasure).
Now, let’s take a short dive into who these Greek characters actually are. Dionysus is not just Dionysus, Zeus is not just Zeus, Odin is not just Odin, etc. This begins in Genesis 6 and ends in Revelation. The rebellious angels who fell with the one known as Lucifer, as well as the fallen angels (watchers) and their offspring (called the Nephilim), set themselves up as gods to be worshipped. From the beginning, they were set apart as the great deceivers from the father of lies. Their entire mission has been to hurt the one true God and Creator by pulling souls away and doing harm to those made in the image and likeness of God: humankind.
With just a little digging, one will plainly see that these “gods” play roles in every culture. According to biblical and secular scholars, most major and minor gods were worshipped by different cultures under different names, all while still being “just a handful of entities.”
Dionysius, for example, is often believed to be the same as Hades. Hades, the ruler of the underworld, along with his two brothers (forming a false trinity), overthrew the Titans and assumed control of the world. That Hades.
The Egyptian equivalent of Dionysius is none other than Osiris. You know, the god of the dead, afterlife, and the deceased. Sound a little like Hades? Osiris was also the god of fertility and agriculture. Sound a little like Dionysius?
To the Romans, Pluto and Bacchus are the names given to the manifestations of Dionysius. Pluto was the god of the underworld and harvest, among other things.
Hindus know Dionysus as Shiva, who is part of another trinity including Vishnu and Brahma. Shiva is known as “the destroyer” but also the god of medicines and poisons (many of which come from the vine), arts, “the cosmic dancer”, and the first and main god of yoga.
Interestingly, Shiva is often depicted as blue. His feminine counterpart (or alternate persona) is Devi, the Hindu “mother goddess” discussed earlier on this channel. Search the name. It’s interesting that Kamala’s middle name is Devi… but I digress.
To the Mayans, Dionysus was Acan, the god of drink and revelry, who was nearly inseparable from the “creator” god, Cacoach. Together, the pair represented chaos and order. Does that sound familiar? Mayan warriors would drink the beverage Acan taught them to make before heading out to shed blood, while others would drink to revel, to get closer to the god, and have hallucinogenic spiritual experiences.
In Norse mythology, Dionysus is most closely associated with Odin, as both were known to drive people to madness. Odin is also known as “the concealer” and “one who is many.” Can we say “legion”?
To the Aztecs, he was Xochipilli, the god of games, flowers, and songs, who resides in a “paradise” where the gods created humanity from ground human bones and sacrificed human blood. Xochipilli also has a female counterpart and is the patron of homosexuals and male prostitutes.
Are we seeing a pattern here yet?
Who is this entity in scripture? Well none other than Abbadon the destroyer of Revelation 9. Just as an fyi he also goes by Apollo, Apollyon, and Horus as in eye of Horus.
It wasn’t enough that they just depict Dionysus. They COULD have just depicted Dionysus in Bacchanalia and nobody would have cared. But the whole point of ‘La Cène sur la scène sur la Seine’ was to depict a Pagan God in the place of the Christian God, in one of the most sombre and sacred moments of the Bible.
Bride it is time to wake up from your sleepy slumber and stop straddling the fence.
Does scripture not say
Revelation 3:15-16 AMP
“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust].”
CHOOSE THIS DAY WHO YOU WILL SERVE
Joshua 24:14-15 TPT “Now therefore, worship Yahweh with holy awe and serve him in authentic love and loyalty. Remove from your hearts every false god to whom your fathers bowed down beyond the Euphrates and in Egypt and serve Yahweh. If it seems wrong in your eyes to serve Yahweh, then make your decision today which gods you will worship—the gods which your ancestors worshiped in Mesopotamia or the gods which the Amorites worship in the land where you are now living—but I and my family, we will give our lives to worship and serve Yahweh!””
