I keep telling people in here that God never wanted us to worship Jesus, especially as the only son of God. That we all are children of God. Worshipping Jesus is idolatry, and never what God wanted, and here is further proof.
He was designated by GOD as a HIGH PRIEST in the order of Melchizedek as many others are, these are ASSISTANTS to our creator. If you need more information on this, get the Urantia book. Though the part about Jesus being the first incarnation of the father was confirmed to me to not have happened, it explains very well our creator mother and father, and what is going on right now.
Anyhow…. Back to what God said.
He was MADE perfect. He was not born perfect. He was A MAN LIKE ANY MAN.
He was called by God. Many of us have been called by God and KNOW IT, as stated below, Yeshua is not alone in this. Many have received divine knowledge as he did! As you can read in 1 Corinthians 12, we ALL have gifts of the Holy Spirit that work for the good of all. Many of us aren’t afraid to acknowledge it anymore, because they stopped burning us at the stake for it. Yeah, that’s right… .
The Catholic Church killed actual Christians for reading the Bible. They didn’t want their narrative disrupted and people understanding who they were. Go learn about it. It’s horrifying. The Inquisition killed CHRISTIANS. Actual Christians, killed by idolators… And look at you. Thinking you were doing the right thing by believing their lies instead of the WORD OF GOD and Yeshua himself.
Also, that he will be a high priest forever, as he still is, assisting…. Where does it say he’s coming back? He’s not, because he never left. He will always be. Eternal life was kind of THE WHOLE POINT.
Paul did not know Jesus, did not walk with him, did his best to understand him but didn’t really, as most didn’t. He got close. He got the essence of things. It’s really the church that appointed sole divinity to Yeshua… In an attempt to make you forget your own.
Also notice it says for all who OBEY HIM. Not believe in him… BIG DIFFERENCE
Hebrews 5:1 Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2 He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. 3 This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. 4 And no one takes this honor on himself, but he receives it when called by God, just as Aaron was.
5 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,
“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father.”[g]
6 And he says in another place,
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”[h]
7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Did you… Catch that last line? There’s lots of high priests… And priestesses!
Look past the man.
Learn his teachings. OBEY HIM. It’s not enough to do works in his name. If you are lawless (idolatry included) you will not be pure. You won’t pass the test and be enlightened. Ascension happens in life AND death. We learn the most coming here.
Jesus is a great teacher, Mystic, ascended master, healer, loved and appointed by God. A fractal of the mother, as we all are. Revere him and learn from him. Let him guide you as an assistant to our creator. Do not think he is equal to our creator, or the only son of God. You’ve entirely missed the point of his sacrifice, and that was for the TRUTH. So all these years later, the seeds he planted would bear fruit to nourish our souls.
