There’s nothing quite like the peace of an early morning walk in the woods, just you and the dog. The crisp air, the rustle of leaves underfoot, and the beauty of nature all around. Hunting isn’t just about the game—

it’s about the quiet moments, the connection to the land, and the bond with your trusted companion by your side. Days like this remind us to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and appreciate the simple things that make life rich.

I was running my Blood hound on a trail when we upon a rise. When we came in it. It startled my bound and myself. The leaves were bright yellow and on the ground with the sun coming through the trees. So bright and glowing that it took my breath away. Thought I was in God’s presence.

There is nothing like a frosty morning with the sun coming up and your hounds ready to run a rabbit. I thank God for all of these wonderful days.
