As we reach the halfway point of this decade and approach 2025, many of us can reflect on the numerous challenges we have faced. Some of these challenges were foretold through prophecy, and many of us felt prepared. I believe that, by God’s grace, the body of Christ has successfully navigated these tests. Along the way, we have seen areas of doubt and unbelief exposed within the church—vulnerabilities in our spiritual armor that are now evident. Whether concerning our beliefs about healing or prophecy, what we hold to be true has been put to the test.
It is abundantly clear to me that during this decade, God is addressing the spirit of fear that resides in people’s hearts. This underlying demonic root is being uprooted so that pure streams of faith can flow. The spirit of fear contributed to the closing of churches and caused some to remain silent about prophecies, fearing marginalization by influential voices. It also influenced people’s compliance with vaccinations. Some may feel anger while reading this, but I do not apologize for my words; I speak from the heart and from what we can all clearly see in hindsight. I refuse to be gaslit when we need oil in our lamps in this hour. We must acknowledge that the church will be tested again before this decade concludes.
I want to emphasize a crucial point: we cannot partner with fear! Projection is not prophecy, and fear-driven prophecies cannot provide us with a clear vision for our future. While we are aware of challenging times ahead, we must choose to partner with faith in order to step into the promises of God’s Word. We cannot be swayed by fears of war or paralyzed by the enemy’s attempts. Those who stand firm against this next test of fear will enter the 2030s with apostolic power to spiritually govern nations. The true war lies in entering into rest, and the true battle is found in maintaining our peace. Let us not allow the enemy to drive us with fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
