Tradition or not the practice of keeping universal truths from men based on whether or not practitioners felt some may not be worthy was not honorable and was done at their own detriment.
Whether or not someone would use this knowledge for good, for evil, or make no use of it at all is in an of itself an exercise of free will.
We have an obligation to our children to teach them how to manifest divine energy and to connect to the creator, not to confuse the truth or hide it so that they can’t to protect our own position, class, or status in society. These are eastern ideas of protectionism along with the belief that esoteric knowledge should not be given to men under the age of 40.
Children are more sensitive and susceptible to this knowledge and capable of doing the most with it.
Imagine if Jesus had not learned it between the ages of 15-30, could he have been able to perform the miracles he did at the time the world most needed it? Certainly not!!!
The ancient knowledge was kept from the world so that men that would never have obtained power could maintain rule. In doing so have failed to fulfill their obligation to the creator.
Evil is done in darkness, good works are done in the light!
Each individual personally draws their own conclusions, whether they are magicians, occultists, gnostics, alchemists, luciferians, kabbalists, shamans, etc., etc., etc.
Occultism is the study of the action or influence of supernatural powers, and the word occult comes from the Latin word occultus, which means “clandestine, hidden or secret. The study of hidden knowledge.
With the practices of occultism, the aim is for the human being to be able to master certain powers that remain hidden, either within his being or in the environment.
In times of religious oppression, counter-doctrinal knowledge had to be kept hidden or “occult”, and as the Church felt threatened, it redefined “occult” as something evil, a prejudice that has survived to this day.
Religion, faced with this reality and aware that occultism can lead men away from the Abrahamic faith, has fought occultism throughout history, condemning its practices and postulates.
