My perception of Jesus’ message is such as this; he did not come to establish a religion but to guide humanity toward ascension. My perception of ascension transcends traditional religious doctrines and invites individuals to awaken to their divine nature. Instead of mere adherence to rules and rituals, Jesus emphasized self-realization and the inherent power within each person to create, heal, and transform their reality.

Jesus’ teachings were primarily about the recognition of one’s divine essence. From the Sermon on the Mount to his interactions with individuals from all walks of life, he consistently pointed to the extraordinary potential residing within each human being. This potential is not limited to the context of spirituality but extends to every aspect of life. As he imparted wisdom, he encouraged people to look within themselves, suggesting that the “Kingdom of God is within you.” This notion invites us to reflect on our ability to manifest our realities, heal from pain, and foster love and compassion.

The crucifixion of Jesus serves as a pivotal point in understanding the resistance he faced. Those in power perceived his teachings as a threat because they challenged the status quo and the established matrix of control. Jesus advocated for a form of consciousness that broke free from dependence on external authority and dogma. His crucifixion can be viewed not just as an act of oppression but as a testament to his revolutionary message. He embodied the ultimate sacrifice to illuminate the path toward self-empowerment, urging followers to embrace their own capabilities rather than waiting for saviors to intervene.

Despite the profound nature of Jesus’ teachings, many still seek validation from external sources, relegating their potential to a distant promise of salvation. This disconnect highlights a pervasive misunderstanding: the essence of Christ consciousness lies within every individual. Each of us is called to embody this consciousness, to act with love, compassion, and authenticity. By recognizing that divinity does not exist solely in historical figures or religious texts, we empower ourselves to affect meaningful change in our lives and the lives of others.

In the quest for spiritual growth, it is essential to move beyond the confines of traditional religious practices. While they can foster community and provide structure, the essence of Jesus’ message urges us to seek the deeper truth within ourselves. This journey toward ascension is about awakening to our inherent potential and understanding our role in the universe. It is an invitation to live with purpose, challenge limiting beliefs, and embrace the interconnectedness of all.

Embracing the idea that Jesus taught ascension rather than religion opens the door to a transformative understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe. His life and teachings encourage us to tap into our divine nature, recognize our power to create change, and ultimately become the embodiment of love and consciousness in a world that desperately needs it. By internalizing this message, we can rise above the constraints imposed by society and religion, stepping into our true potential as co-creators of reality. In doing so, we honor the legacy of Jesus, not through mere following, but through a profound awakening and the embodiment of Christ consciousness within ourselves and our communities. ♥️ Joseph Keel ♥️
