Satan, the Master of Deception, works systematically. His preferred tactic is not overt demonry, but the subtle corruption of the human heart, especially those empowered with great influence in the pivotal spheres of money, governance, and defense. He ensnares them through the allurement of sin, pride, greed, fear leading to spiritual blindness and bondage.

The Corrupted Strongholds:

– Banking & Finance: Control over money is control over lifeblood. Corrupting this sphere enables systemic injustice (usury, exploitation, debt slavery), fuels wars, concentrates power in ungodly hands, and makes Mammon a rival god (Matthew 6:24). The deception lies in making greed appear as shrewdness and wealth as the ultimate measure of success and security.

– Government: Those who make and enforce laws shape society’s moral fabric. Corrupt leaders enact unjust laws, protect wickedness, persecute the righteous, and lead nations away from Godly principles. Satan tempts them with absolute power, the ability to “play God,” and the seduction of building earthly kingdoms on sand (Psalm 2, Proverbs 29:12).

– Military: Those who wield the sword hold the power of life and death. Corrupting military leadership can unleash unjust wars, oppression, state-sponsored terror, and the glorification of violence over peace. Satan exploits legitimate defense needs to foster imperialism, vengeance, and the dehumanisation of enemies (Matthew 26:52).

This infiltration is not merely about causing earthly chaos; it is about spiritual enslavement. Sin, once indulged, becomes a chain of slavery.

– Addiction to Power: The pursuit and maintenance of power become an all-consuming idol, demanding ever-greater compromises and sacrifices of conscience.

– Hardening of the Heart: Repeated sin sears the conscience (1 Timothy 4:2). The ability to discern good from evil dims. Compassion withers. The needs of the vulnerable become abstractions.

– Fear and Paranoia: The corrupt powerful live in fear – fear of exposure, fear of losing power, fear of rivals. This fear drives them deeper into deception and isolation, mirroring their master’s own state.

– Loss of True Freedom: Despite their earthly authority, they become prisoners of their passions – slaves to pride, greed, fear, and lust.

Higher-ranking demons work strategically: They exploit societal spheres of power and human passions. Each sin opens doors for stronger demonic influence (Matthew 12:43-45). The powerful become puppets—unaware they serve hell’s agenda. Corrupting one leader cascades into systemic evil; a single compromised mind rooted in positions of power; banker, or ruler can enslave millions, it is very difficult for a christian to reach these levels of power unless one becomes corruptible, as them.

“The love of money is a root of all evils” (1 Timothy 6:10)
