Pastors love to shout tithing from the rooftops and throw the Malachi 3 guilt trip at you…

But I’ve never heard one teach on Deuteronomy 26:12 that tells them every third year they are to make sure the widows, orphans, and needy of their communities are fed and taken care of…

Communities are hurting and starving, but at least those lights are bright and you sound like Elevation.

I’m not against lighting and sound… but we can’t shine the lights inside so bright that we blind ourselves from seeing our true purpose at the expense of our light not shining in the darkness people are trapped in.  We can’t tune our speakers so loud that we can’t hear the cries of those hurting around us.

This business model thing we call church needs a shaking and get back to what matters… people.
