📖 1 John 4:3 

Why do so many voices resist Christ and distort His doctrine? Humanity often struggles with deception and rebellion, but Scripture reveals the spirit of Antichrist—a force that denies Jesus as the Son of God and opposes His truth. 

1 John 4:3: “But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.” 

This passage reveals the mystery: the spirit of Antichrist is not only future but present, working through denial of Christ’s identity and opposition to His doctrine. 

The spirit of Antichrist manifests as: 
– Denial: Rejecting Jesus as the Son of God.

– Deception: Leading people away from Christ. 
– Bondage: Enslaving hearts in rebellion. 

– Some think Antichrist is only a single future figure. But Scripture shows the spirit of Antichrist is already at work. 
– Others think denial of Christ is harmless. But it is rebellion against God. 
– Some think all spiritual voices are equal. But only the Spirit of truth confesses Christ. 

From heaven’s perspective, the spirit of Antichrist is rebellion against Christ’s lordship. God sees His children as called to discernment and faithfulness. Heaven views confession of Christ as the safeguard against deception. 

What the Spirit of Antichrist Represents
– Rebellion: Resistance to Christ’s authority. 
– Deception: False doctrines opposing truth. 
– Bondage: Captivity in denial of Christ. 
– Counterfeit: False messiahs and false teachings. 
– Warning: Call to discernment and faithfulness. 

Signs of the Spirit of Antichrist at Work
1. Denial of Jesus as the Son of God. 
2. Opposition to His doctrine and authority. 
3. False teachings that distort the gospel. 
4. Resistance to the Spirit of truth. 
5. Widespread deception leading many astray. 

The Assignment of Believers in This Reality
– To confess Christ boldly. 
– To declare His authority over deception. 
– To testify of freedom through His truth. 
– To glorify God by living consecrated. 
– To walk boldly in covenant discernment. 

How to Overcome the Spirit of Antichrist
– Apply Faith: Believe 1 John 4:3 as divine warning. 
– Declare Christ: Speak His lordship over deception. 
– Remain Grateful: Celebrate salvation daily. 
– Embrace Scripture: Anchor life in God’s Word. 
– Magnify Christ’s Victory: Testify of freedom from rebellion. 

– Do not fear Antichrist—the spirit is defeated in Christ. 
– Stay discerning—test every spirit by confession of Jesus. 
– Stay bold—declare Christ in prayer and prophecy. 
– Stay humble—victory flows from Him, not self. 
– Remember: the spirit of Antichrist opposes Christ, but the Spirit of truth confesses Him.
