GOD IS LIGHT 💡

Scripture says something extraordinary:

God is Light.

Not merely that God created light.

Not merely that God exists somewhere inside light.

God is Light.

And when science begins talking about photons, wavelengths, frequency, energy, and the electromagnetic spectrum, suddenly those ancient words begin to open in a different way.

What we call visible light is carried by photons.

Yet the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that the physical eye can perceive represents only about 0.0035% of that spectrum.

Think about that.

Your eyes are looking at reality through an incredibly narrow window.

Infrared is present.

Ultraviolet is present.

Radio waves are present.

Microwaves are present.

X-rays are present.

Gamma rays are present.

They can exist all around you without your physical eyes ever detecting them.

So Scripture saying,

“We walk by faith, not by sight,”

begins to sound far deeper than a religious slogan.

Sight was never designed to show you the whole spectrum.

But there is another layer to this.

Your eyes receive light, but your eyes do not hand you a finished picture of reality.

Photons strike the retina.

The retina converts that light into electrical signals.

Those signals travel into the brain.

And then the brain interprets what those signals mean.

That means what you experience as seeing is not simply the eye taking a photograph of the outside world.

You are interpreting.

Your memories participate.

Your expectations participate.

Your previous experiences participate.

Your attention participates.

Your beliefs participate.

Your conditioning participates.

The brain is constantly using what it already knows to help interpret what is coming through the senses.

So none of us are simply seeing reality neutrally.

We are seeing through a lens.

This is why understanding your vessel matters so much.

Imagine being taught from childhood that demons are everywhere.

That the devil is externally waiting to attack you.

That certain sounds are evil.

Certain symbols are evil.

Certain experiences are demonic.

Certain thoughts open doors.

Certain practices open portals.

Fear this.

Avoid that.

Be careful.

Watch out.

Then one day something happens that you cannot immediately explain.

A shadow.

A strange dream.

Sleep paralysis.

A sensation in the room.

Something moving in your peripheral vision.

An unusual spiritual experience.

Your mind immediately begins interpreting it through the library it has already been given.

If your internal library has been filled with external devils and demons your whole life, then naturally that may become the first explanation your mind reaches for.

That does not mean every spiritual experience is imaginary.

It means you must understand the instrument through which the experience is being interpreted.

Otherwise you may mistake your interpretation of something for the thing itself.

And this is where much of the Christianity I was taught actually kept me disconnected from understanding the temple.

I was taught to deny myself continually.

Distrust yourself.

Distrust your heart.

Distrust your body.

Distrust your mind.

You are a sinner.

Your flesh is evil.

Do not look inward.

Just believe the script.

But Scripture also says:

Your body is the temple.

So why would I not want to understand how the temple works?

Why would I not study how the eyes perceive light?

How the brain creates perception?

How fear affects the nervous system?

How trauma can influence what we interpret?

How expectation changes what we notice?

How light affects the body?

How consciousness processes experience?

Understanding the vessel does not remove God.

It removes ignorance about the vessel where God dwells.

And suddenly Yeshua saying,

“If your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light,”

becomes even more profound.

Maybe the question is not simply:

What are you looking at?

Maybe the deeper question is:

What lens are you looking through?

Because two people can experience the same situation and interpret it completely differently.

One sees punishment.

Another sees transformation.

One sees judgment.

Another sees mercy.

One sees an external enemy.

Another sees an inner fear being revealed.

One sees separation.

Another sees union.

The physical information entering their senses can be similar.

The interpretation can be completely different.

This is why programming is so powerful.

Eventually you stop realizing that you are looking through a program.

You simply call the program reality.

You think you are seeing clearly.

But you may only be seeing through decades of fear, theology, trauma, expectation, and conditioning.

And Yeshua came showing another way of seeing.

Through love.

Through the heart.

Through the single eye.

Through the Kingdom within.

Through union.

Through perfect love that casts out fear.

Instead of encountering the unknown and immediately asking,

“What is trying to attack me?”

you can become still and ask,

“What am I actually experiencing?”

“What is my mind adding to this?”

“What have I been taught to believe this means?”

“What would this look like without fear interpreting it for me?”

This is where science and spirituality begin having a beautiful conversation.

Science tells you that your physical eyes perceive only a tiny portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Science tells you that your brain interprets the information your senses receive.

Science tells you that memory, expectation, attention, and prior experience can shape perception.

And Scripture tells you:

Do not walk merely by sight.

Maybe humanity’s problem is not simply that we cannot see.

Maybe the problem is that we have mistaken our tiny window of perception for the whole spectrum.

God is Light.

The universe is filled with light your natural eyes cannot perceive.

And perhaps Truth works the same way.

There is more present than the physical eye can see.

There is more present than the conditioned mind can interpret.

There is more present than the program has allowed you to perceive.

So examine the lens.

Understand the temple.

Question the programming.

Become still enough to notice what fear has been adding to the picture.

Because your eyes may receive the photons,

but the lens through which you interpret them matters.

And when fear no longer controls the lens,

Love teaches the eye how to see.


You were never seeing the whole spectrum.

You were seeing through the window you were given.

Let Love clean the lens, and Light will reveal what fear could never understand.
