Have you ever considered that a decree is a form of prayer? We often think of prayer as petition, intercession, confession or warfare, yet prayer also has a governmental dimension because we are not praying from separation. We are His dwelling place, His temple. We carry His Spirit, we have the mind of Christ, we are seated with Him in heavenly places, and all the promises of God in Christ are Yes and Amen. So there is a dimension of prayer that does not merely ascend toward God but proceeds from our union with Him into the earth through agreement, authority and utterance, literally collapsing timelines.

This is where I believe we have barely touched the architecture of dominion, because a petition asks, but a decree occupies—and Jesus commanded us to “occupy till I come.” What exactly have we been given to occupy, and what does that have to do with Job 22:28: “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways”? Why is light woven into the establishment of a decree, and why did Jesus tell us to believe that we have already received something that has not yet appeared within our visible timeline?

There is a profound mystery here connected to what I have come to understand as Sōd haKissēʾ beḤoq haShamayim—the Throne Council within the Statute of the Heavens, and its relationship to the Decretal Domain, dominion, light, sound, faith, possibility, manifestation and time itself. Because if Christ is the Alpha and Omega, if all things consist in Him, if eternity has been placed within us, and if we are presently seated in Him, then perhaps we need to reconsider our relationship with time and what actually happens when an enthroned son or daughter decrees from that position.

What if a decree is doing far more than announcing what we believe will happen someday? What if faith is apprehending what is already Yes in Christ, while our decree gives that unseen reality sound within chronos and begins collapsing the distance between promise and manifestation?

There is an architecture behind dominion that we have barely begun to explore.

And Session Nine of The Enthroned Life is where we are going to enter this mystery together. I hope you join us, because the time is NOW. As we approach 5787 and move deeper into this season of transfiguration, it is not enough to simply hear the command, “Arise, shine, for your light has come.” We must understand HOW to arise, HOW to shine, HOW to occupy, and HOW to govern from the architecture of dominion we have inherited in Christ.

The hour is not merely approaching. We are being summoned to understand what this hour requires of us.
